This department conducts various activities like Debate competition, Elocution, Poem writing and recitation that reflect Nepali culture and enhance students’ written and spoken Nepali.  It also awards students participating in such activities.  This encourages students to build confidence and perform in front of mass.

This department carried out Nepali dance competition, singing contest, poem writing and recitation and published it monthly wall magazine “Sahitya Dabali”.

The wall magazine consists of different articles contributed by students.  A team of student editors is chosen for the task of preparing this magazine which helps them to learn skills of team work.

Every Friday is regarded as Nepali day where students give speeches on Nepali, discuss news and current affairs and interact in Nepali all day. This department is always working towards bringing out the talents of students and presenting it infront of mass.
